How can devolved government deliver for citizens?

Venue: Ulster Hall, Belfast

The first seminar ‘How can devolved government deliver for citizens?’ took place at the Ulster Hall, Belfast on Tuesday 8th September 2009.

Our first speaker was Rt. Hon Jack McConnell, the longest serving First Minister for Scotland and current MSP for Motherwell and Wishaw. He shared his views on Scotland’s approach to devolution, how his administration improved the public’s view of devolved institutions, and how economic and social policy improved Scotland’s well-being nationally and economic performance internationally.

We were also joined by the Northern Ireland First Minister, Peter Robinson to mark the launch of the Evolve series.
